Binge Eating Disorder on Great Day St. Louis

Watch Great Day St. Louis host Virginia Kerr as she talks with experts on her binge eating disorder segment.  Binge eating disorder has now been officially recognized in the DSMV as an eating disorder.  This will validate that those who are suffering are struggling with a real illness.  It will also bring focus and attention to treatment.  Recognizing this as an illness is extremely positive. Many thanks to Virginia Kerr for her continued support of raising eating disorders awareness.

What People are Saying

In recovery, life changed from a personal war to freedom in finding who I am. Life is now beautiful. I’m reminded everyday it was worth the fight.

Jessica Heitman

We’ve got to get involved and change the conversation on eating disorders. This is a serious, deadly disease, not a choice, and it deserves more research funding, more insurance coverage and more resources.
