The Missouri Eating Disorders Association is committed to making a difference by providing education, awareness and resources for eating disorders. MOEDA provides help and resources for families, friends and for those suffering from an eating disorder. Professional development and networking events occur throughout the year to support eating disorder professionals. Community events include the Annual Benefit Gala and National Eating Disorders Awareness Week events. The Feed The Facts curriculum is an interactive, educational and informative program for students, school staff and parents. MOEDA is proud to be a grassroots, not for profit organization. Our success is directly linked to donations, memberships and volunteers. Please consider becoming a volunteer, member or making a donation to MOEDA. | “MOEDA has had an incredible impact on my life and the lives of countless others. I got involved with MOEDA about a year and a half ago. I felt strong in my own recovery and wanted to get involved with the local eating disorder community. Selfishly, I hoped getting active in the eating disorder community would help me grow stronger in my recovery and give me the added push I need to get Recovered. And boy, did it ever!.....For the first time in my life, I feel no shame about who I am. I am a proud Eating Disorder Survivor. MOEDA is saving lives, one by one, person by person. They are doing the day to day hard work it takes to create sustainable change,” Ali Fields, MOEDA Volunteer |
